So much for caution...

Despite my efforts, I have fallen victim to the storms anyway. I've transferred my journal to my armor's in-built memory and processing unit for easier access. I notice the University's journal system is intact somehow and this is a good way for everyone to keep in contact in this wild, and possibly hostile, place.

Now to find our way to the rest of the people here. I, Kodas, and Acorna are all here and perfectly well. So is the Firearms building with all of its supplies. If you run into it while I am away, please take sparingly. We only have such much ammo--we must conserve.

I will keep up the Firearms building as a vital area of security. Feel free to use it as a sanctuary if nothing else is available.

The Elite has not caused any trouble since the night I met him. It seems too good to be true, but I wonder about it sometimes. This Elite seems to hold honor and virtue high in its values. I'm unaccustomed to Elites being honorable to humans, but this fall of the Covenant alliance might prove to be beneficial to our race. If the Elites can manage to change their ways and shown humans the same honor they hold so high in their own race... it would change everything in this war.

But for now I only have to worry about the students here at the University. I will continue to watch it and make sure it holds no more hate or harm for the human race. (Or any of the other races abundant in this unusual place.)

Speaking of protecting, it would be much easier to do with my armor. I really need to see about getting a hold of it. <s>The headmistress is impossible to find in this damn place. It's actually annoying. Maybe I should just preform a spec-ops mission at night one of these days.</s>

Oh, and the paintball war coming up... I think I'm looking forward to the exercise. It sounds similar to something Chief Mendez would have cooked up for us when we had the time for something 'fun.' By the way, if anyone wants pointers on how to aim, fire, or otherwise enter melee combat with a gun, now would be the best time to ask. I will not be joining teams. <s>The poor students will have enough to worry about with me on my own.</s> I'd hate if everyone asked so there would be too many people <s>to babysit</s>.

There is an Elite on campus! I cannot belief they allowed one of those... creautes... to join the University. Granted, the Elites and Brutes have begun fighting amoungst each other and I've heard rumor that Keyes and Johnson were temporarily working together with a group of Elite allies... they're still Covenant! They are the enemy.

<s>But, could this mean an alliance with the Elites? With the Hunters on their side it would be pretty beneficial. It could be... interesting.</s>

It seems no one is taking my class currently. This is a bit annoying considering I could (and would much rather) be fighting the Covenant with the rest of the UNSC forces. It is a bit disappointing as well.

Without a class to teach and no other duties to occupy my time, I feel uneasy. Restless, bored, whatever you wish to call it. That is how I feel. I am a soldier. My instincts were built for fighting situations. This lack of excitement, lack of motion, lack of something to do... is going to drive me insane.

That in mind, I've decided to use the facility's equipment to rig a training course and run it every day. Even if I have to do it at night to keep from interfering with classes. And having to set it up then take it down every time will only give me that much more to do to keep me in condition.

I'm still uncertain of this place. And now there's a fake Spartan here as well. Things couldn't be more confusing. However, at least I have somewhat of 'orders' to follow. I am to teach the class of Firearms. I'm proficient in every weapon imaginable; teaching what I know should be easy.

I do have to mention that I hate being apart from my MJOLNIR unit. It was like a second skin. I feel naked and almost helpless without it. It's even worse that I have no weapons, not even a sidearm. I'll have to procure one during the class. Apparently any weapon I ask for will be provided so there's another bonus.

Aside from lacking my armor, the record log integrated within the suit is sorely missed. I have to rely on personal methods to keep track of... everything. And I've yet to find a date or time for this place. Everyone and everything is from so many different places... and times... and dimensions apparently. It's... insane.

This isn't right. How could this happen? And where exactly am I? The university she mentioned? That's impossible.

..but so much has happened lately, what am I to say what is and isn't possible. I live off that basis. I preform the impossible every time I go into a mission.

I guess I better get used to this place. I'm not sure how long I'll be stuck here.
